Choose your starting point
Add up to 25 images, or open one video and pick up to 15 seconds of it. Put images in the order you want, adjust how long each stays on screen, and preview the loop. You can crop, add captions, reverse it or make it play forwards and backwards.
GIFs get big surprisingly quickly
A shorter loop and a smaller width are the easiest ways to cut the file size. Fewer frames per second can help too, though motion will look less smooth. GIF has a limited colour palette, so gradients and detailed footage won't look exactly like the original video. GIFs don't carry sound.
Before you share it
Check the timing and read any captions at the size people will actually see. The maker builds the GIF in your browser, without uploading your pictures or adding a watermark. Keep the tab open while it exports, then download the finished file before leaving.
