What can go in a code?
Choose a website, plain text, Wi-Fi details, an email, a phone number, an SMS, contact details or a location. Fill in the fields and download a PNG or SVG. PNG is handy for everyday use; SVG stays sharp when scaled for a printed sign or poster.
Test it before you print it
Keep a dark foreground on a light background and leave the clear border around the code intact. Longer content makes a denser code that can be harder to scan when small. Try the downloaded version with your phone camera at its intended size before printing a whole batch.
Does it expire?
These are static QR codes: the content is stored in the pattern, not behind a ShrinkifyMedia redirect. There's no expiry or scan tracking added by this tool. A linked website still needs to stay online, and changing the encoded address or Wi-Fi password means making a new code. Anyone with the code can read what you put in it.
