You don't need to send us a file to edit it. ShrinkifyMedia does the processing in your browser. This page explains what that means and what information is still used to run the website.
Your files
When you choose a video, image or audio file, it opens on your device. The same goes for anything you type into the QR tool. None of that content is sent to us for processing.
Your original file isn't changed. Use the download button to save the result as a new file. Save anything you want to keep before switching tools, reloading or closing the tab: unsaved edits can be lost.
What the website loads
Your browser still needs to download the website, fonts and editing software. Those requests include your IP address, the address you're visiting and some browser information, just as they do on other websites. Our hosting provider may keep access and security logs under its own policies.
Your browser may cache these downloads so the tools load faster next time. The editors also use temporary files and memory on your device while you work. There's no account to create, and we haven't added a separate analytics service.
